What is The Practitioner Portal?

Practice management software built only for therapists and counsellors: scheduling, telehealth video, typed clinical notes, billing with superbills, client surveys and a client portal — one product, two simple plans.

Who is it for?

Therapists, counsellors and psychologists — solo practices and small teams, designed UK-first. It is deliberately not a do-everything clinic platform for physio or chiropractic.

How much does it cost?

From £29 a month: Solo is £29 ($39) for one practitioner, Practice is £65 ($79) for teams — everything clinical included in both, with a 30-day free trial. Details on the pricing page.

Is telehealth video included, or extra?

Included. Video session rooms are part of the portal.

Which note formats can I use?

SOAP, DAP, BIRP or free-form typed notes — sectioned editors, drafts, and a finalise step when the note is done.

Is my clients' data encrypted?

Yes. Clinical notes are encrypted and every access is logged. How it all works is explained plainly on the security page.

How does it handle GDPR requests?

Subject-access requests produce a structured export of everything held about a client, and erasure runs as a supervised cascade — both are built-in workflows, not support tickets.

Does AI read my notes?

No. There's no generative AI inside the platform and your clinical data is never used for training. Optional external services are opt-in and receive only de-identified data.

Can my receptionist use it without seeing clinical notes?

Yes — reception roles manage the diary, bookings and homework with no route into clinical notes, enforced on the server.

How is it different from Jane?

Jane is broad clinic software for many disciplines; TPP is therapy-only, UK-first, one price with everything in. There's an honest side-by-side on the comparison page.
